Vehicle Maintenance PBL Project

In this fast paced world we live in today, managing your personal and professional lives can be hectic. If you do not have your own mode of transportation life can be rough. To make your life easier you should find your own way of transportation. Purchasing a vehicle is one of the largest investments you will be make. Throughout the course of this project, students will learn how important vehicles are in today's society and more importantly how to keep their vehicles in tip top shape. Lesson #1: Students will learn how to use a floor jack and jack stands correctly and what can happen if you do not use them correctly. Lesson #2: Students will learn the different types and causes of tire wear. Lesson #3: Students will learn how to rotate their tires correctly and how important it is to do so. Lesson #4: Students will learn how important it is to maintain their vehicle and the important roll it take on the longevity of their vehicles. This project is brought to you by Frank Rodriguez (CTE) with support from the CTE Online curriculum leadership team and detailed coordination provided by the Course Team Lead Susan Morris.
