Getting a Job - Preparing for your Future PBL Project
Everyone wants a job.
In this PBL Project "Getting a Job" students will learn about attitude and enthusiasm in Professional Skills 101, they will identify the importance of their social media presence in Social Media Skills 201, students will work on interview skills in Interview Skills 301 and finally be prepared for a live Mock Interview with adults using Mock Interview 401.
This series of 4 lessons will help students be prepared for their professional educational or career future.
The Business and Finance Unit include:
Lesson 1 - Professional Skills - Enthusiasm and motivation are key to a good employee
Lesson 2 - Social Media Skills and how to represent yourself as a professional
Lesson 3 - Interview skills including the STAR method of answering questions
Lesson 4 - The Mock Interview - setting up an actual interview for students with judges
