Active Supervision - Creating a Culture of Safety in Child Care Centers

The following four lessons, Teacher-to-Child Ratios in Child Care Centers, Active Supervision, Indoor Supervision and Outdoor Supervision, will provide Title 22 Community Care Licensing Ratios, Care and Supervision requirements, activities, strategies, resources and tips that will help Childcare Teachers to keep children safe and well supervised. 

After participating in the lessons, students will learn to implement quality supervision by using this effective tool: Active Supervision - Six Strategies To Keep Children Safe. With thoughtful planning and intentional use of Active Supervision, teachers will focus on creating a safe environment to help prevent injuries and reduce the risk of injuries for young children in child care programs.
