Cooking tutorials are all the rage on social media, giving even the most reluctant home cook the confidence to try something more difficult. So why not bring the medium to your classroom and make your students the teachers?
This project has students producing a "Tasty" style cooking tutorial video. They will work in groups to write, film, edit, and then present an omelette tutorial to the class.
Lesson 1 - Students will create a cooking tutorial on how to cook an omelette using a video editing platform.
Lesson 2 - This lesson involves students creating a collaborate script to be used with making tutorial video.
Lesson 3 - Students will collaborate to edit the master script for their cooking tutorial video. Once complete, they will film the video.
Lesson 4 - In this final lesson students will use editing software to put the finishing touches on the "Tasty" style video tutorial.
