Developing an Environmental Impact Report PBL Project

Assessing any given environment is incredibly important as we cannot always see what's truly there. Developing an Environmental Impact Report allows us analyze many components of a site (even the things that we cannot see) before we start a construction project. In this PBL Project, students will learn how to develop an Environmental Impact Report for a given site. Students will test the soil quality, observe natural surroundings, identify wildlife currently living at the site, learn about the public policy of building construction and inform the community and city officials of the impacts before we place "that" there. This project is brought to you by Danaelle Arroyo with support from the CTE Online curriculum leadership team and detailed coordination provided by Team Lead Laura Gallardo.
