Fund My Vision - Writing and Pitching a Performance Proposal PBL Project
Fund My Vision! Students will learn pertinent industry-specific writing and presentation skills for careers in Performing Arts (and other AME Pathways). While this project was originally designed for Intermediate/Advanced Dance classes, the project can be adapted for all AME pathways. In this project, students will learn how to write a formal proposal/thesis for the design of a performance product (for stage or film), plan a budget (lesson 2), effectively pitch proposals to investors or program sponsors (lesson 3), and write a grant for the realization of their work (lesson 4). Industry partner participation highly encouraged.
