Conflict and Compromise: Japanese Incarceration during World War II (NHD @ the National Museum of American History)
This collection includes objects and resources related to Japanese Internment during World War II. Following the bombing of Pearl Harbor, President Roosevelt issued Executive Order 9066 through which tens of thousands of Americans of Japanese ancestry were moved into relocation centers.
